"AKHALI GUDAURI" DEVELOPMENT REGULATION PLAN
Year: 2008 Client: Private Investors Development regulation plan of the new settlement - "Akhali Gudauri" considers development of alpine type modern settlement with the capacity from 8 to 10 thousand residents on the unsettled and undeveloped alpine fields at 2 000-2 500 m. above sea level. Th e works included architectural-planning, engineering and mountain type infrastructure survey, spatial-functional solution of the territory, analysis of technological and marketing details for mountain infrastructure development. Aerial survey of high resolution was conducted on the projected territory, color digital othophotos and topographic map at 1:2 000 scale have been produced based on the combination of field survey and aerophotogrammetric methods. Planning of undeveloped territory and its full integration into the existing and planned ski pistes, existing development of Gudauri and main concept considering Gudauri as an entire mountain-ski and tourist center made the project unique.

ASSESSMENT OF PROSPECTIVE DEVELOPMENT OF NEW SKI RESORT – BESHUMI
Year: 2009 Client: Government of Adjara AR
The aim of the survey at Goderdzi pass from the village of Danisparauli to resort Beshumi was the assessment of ski sport and tourism development prospects. Possible redistribution of ski pistes at 20 sq.km. area and their parameters including length, rake, level differences, area have been studied. Areas for ski lifts have been selected and the project on their location and connection has been worked out. The settlement area was allocated at the end of ski pistes. In addition, number of skiers for simultaneous and safe skiing and tourists of all types has been calculated.

SKI PISTES HOMOLOGIZATION IN GUDAURI
Year: 2008 Client: Ski Federation of Georgia
Homologization project of the new ski piste “Kudebi” was developed for resort Gudauri. Distribution and parameters of men and women giant slalom and downhill pistes was determined based on topo-geodetic survey of the project territory: piste length is 3,6 km., level difference varies within 13-43%, start point is located at 2 930 m. above sea level. Locations of two lifts were also identified. Homologization project of ski pistes will be presented to FIS (Fédération Internationale de Ski ) to obtain international certifi cate.
